William Kowal Sr., 70, of Butler passed away on Wednesday, June 23, 2021. He was born in Butler, on August 30, 1950 to the late Wallace and Martha (Slomers) Kowal. William was an employee of Pullman until their closure, then moved on to Pete Kaffalas Painting Contractors, and worked for Walmart for the last 14 years. He enjoyed classic cars, especially taking his 1955 Chevy to car shows. William was the father of William (Marilley) Kowal Jr. and Jackie Kowal; brother of Dorothy Billman. He is also survived by 1 grandchild. He was preceded in death by his brother Wallace Kowal Jr. and his sister Kathy Fohl. Service will be held privately the SPENCER D.
