Walter Hartman

Walter Hartman, 70, of Edinburgh PA (formally Cabot, PA) passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 after a short battle with pancreatic cancer surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Rimersburg, PA on May 24, 1953 to the late Raymond and Josephine Ann (Crissman) Hartman. Walter was a lifetime member of the local Fire Department, loved gardening, watching eagles, hunting, auto racing and camping with his family. He was the beloved husband of Judith (Goldinger) Hartman for over 51 years since their marriage in 1973; father of John (Lisa) Hartman and Randy Hartman; brother of Thomas “Tim” (Patty) Hartman, Wendall Hartman, Nancy (Ken) Martz, Linda and Valerie; grandfather of Zachary Hartman, Kayla (Kyle) Montgomery, Faith Hartman and Trevor Hartman; great grandfather of Ivy Emigh, Tallen Hartman, Maverick Hartman, Kayden Hartman and Kayson Montgomery. Along with his parents Walter was preceded in death by his brothers Joe and Roger Hartman, and his sisters Grace, Saundra and Ruth.
