Ronald Morrison

Ronald E. Morrison, 84, of Cabot, passed away Tuesday, September 27th, 2022 at Butler Memorial Hospital. Ron was born on July 30th, 1938 to the late John A. and Virginia A. Morrison of Cheswick, PA. Ron graduated from Springdale High School. Following a career with General Electric in their overseas military division, Ron earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Duquesne University. He then joined the United States Postal Service as a mail flow controller at the Bulk Mail Center in Warrendale, PA until he retired in 2007. Ron enjoyed ballroom dancing, western style square dancing, traveling & going on cruises with his wife Peggy. He was an active member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church where he served on the Church Council, Finance Committee, and previously with the Music & Worship Committee. Ron is survived by his wife Margaret R. "Peggy" (Elliott) Morrison whom he married on August 20th, 1988. He is also survived by his daughter, Jennifer Morrison of Youngwood, PA and his sister Colleen M. Cook of Saxonburg, PA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Darlene (Reiber) Morrison. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Monday, October 3rd, 2022 at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Butler, PA through SPENCER D.
