Robert Glass

Robert E. Glass, 80, of Butler, passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2021. He was born in Leechburg, on April 13, 1941 to the late Alice Ross and Elmer Glass Sr. Robert served his country honorably with the United States Army. He enjoyed hunting, bowling, golfing, lifetime TV, and anything outdoors, especially camping. Robert was known for being kindhearted, honest, and loved to joke. Above all else he loved to spend time with family and staying extremely busy. He was the loving husband of Rosella (Grafton) Glass; father of Bob “Robby” (Terri) Glass, Wesley (Barbara) Glass, and Michael Glass; brother of Martha Jane Gauker, Marlene Schall, Kenneth Glass, and David (Connie) Glass; grandfather of Jonathan, Sean, Alice, Wesley, Tracy, Rosa, Crystal, and Aaron. Robert is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and his beloved chihuahua. He was preceded in death by his daughter Brenda Ciepiela who passed away in 2020, his step father William Ross, and two siblings. Friends will be received Wednesday, May 26th from 5-7pm in the SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 NEW CASTLE RD, BUTLER, PA 16001, WWW.SPENCERDGEIBEL.COM. A prayer service will immediately follow in the funeral home.
