Regis Smith Obituary

Regis L. Smith, 69, of Butler, passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021. He was born in Butler on March 2, 1952 to the late Cornelius and Mary Smith. Regis was a hardworking Brick layer. He worked for the local BAC #9. Regis enjoyed to hunt and fish, but loved nothing more than spending time with his grandchildren. He was the beloved husband of Deborah (Jenkins) Smith who he married in 1978; father of Nicole (Zane) Reynolds, Tricia Smith, and Joshua Smith; brother of Margaret (Leo) Geibel, Debra (James) King, Betty Gregor, Guy (Kathy) Smith, Rory (Deborah) Smith, Brian (Tammy) Smith, and Larry Smith. Regis is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his siblings Paul Smith and Patricia Smith. Friends received on Sunday, November 7th from 6-8 PM in the SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 NEW CASTLE RD, BUTLER, PA 16001, WWW.SPENCERDGEIBEL.COM. A prayer service will immediately follow in the funeral home.
