Peter Mullen

Peter L. Mullen, 59, of Butler, passed away suddenly on August 19th, 2023. He was born on March 16th,1964 in Pittsburgh and was the son to the late Mike and Joan Fritz. He served with the Army and was a long time member at the American Legion Post #778. He was also a volunteer firefighter for the Lyndora Fire Department. He was a jack of all trades who loved watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and wore his heart on his sleeve. Survivors include his beloved wife Julie Mullen who he always called his “bride”; brother Michael Stamerra (Sandy DeMire), sister Jeanine (Jim) Wise and children Andrea, Ryan, Tiffany Mullen, Chelsea (Chaz) Combine, Amanda (Tyson) Boarts, and Emma Peters. He is also survived by his grandbabies whom he loved and cherished so much Blaise, McKenna, Hayzen, Hendrix, GiGi Mullen; Aaliyah, Isaiah Mullen; Lillian McCarthy-Arnone, Leland, Eleanor Combine; Vincent and Isabella Boarts. Family and friends will be received from 1 to 3 and 4:30 to 6:30 pm. Friday, Aug. 25, 2023 at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 NEW CASTLE RD. BUTLER, PA 16001, WWW.SPENCERDGEIBEL.COM. A prayer service will immediately follow in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to the American Legion Post #778.
