Obituary

Mark R. Bollinger, 60, of Elk County, formerly of Freeport, passed away on Monday, August 28, 2023. He was born in Natrona Heights on December 7, 1962 to the late Wayne and Sara (Gumbert) Bollinger. After graduating from Freeport High School Mark worked for Giant Eagle Corporation for numerous years. He was known for being a good man that would help anyone out. Mark loved his dog Bella and to hunt, fish, ride quads, and being outdoors. He was a member of the Sarver Vets Club and Freeport Eagles. Mark's favorite pastime was shooting pool, he even competed across the country and in Las Vegas competitions. He was taught from an early age and always excelled at it. Mark was loved and will be forever missed. Mark was the brother of Beth (Mark) Hawk, Roland (Maryanne) Bollinger, and Deb Fitzpatrick, and uncle of Autumn (Matt) Schaeffer, Tyler (Jess) Hawk, Randy (Ashley) Bollinger, and Justin (Morgan) Bollinger. He was preceded in death by his brother Kenneth Bollinger. Family and friends will be received on Sunday, September 3, 2023 from 6-8 PM at SPENCER D.
