Obituary
Lana Aven, 77, of Butler, formerly of Kansas City, MO, passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2023. She was born in New Castle on January 9, 1946 to the late William Aven and Hazel (Hoover) Franks. Lana graduated from Tarkio College in Missouri with her Bachelor’s Degree. A majority of her career was working for the state of Missouri. Lana loved to take photographs of the Historical and Natural Places she explored. She was dearly loved and will be forever missed. Lana was the sister of Deanna (Tom) Piroch; sister in law of Christine Aven; aunt of numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother William Aven.
