Joann Collins Obituary

Joann (Peplowski) Collins, 71, of Butler passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024. She was born in Natrona Heights on July 2, 1952 to the late John and Leonora (Gulchick) Peplowski. Joann graduated from Butler High School in 1970 and was employed at AMS Electronics for 23 years in quality control. She was known for her love of reading and spending time with her family. Mother of Cristina “Tina” (Fred) Collins; sister of Leona (Gary) Osche, Deb Toward, and John Peplowski; grandmother of Raymond (Entasazia) Schell, Skyler-Anne (Tom) Collins, and Jade (Hunter) McKerahan; great grandmother of Gen, Donavan, and Devlan; and sister – in law of Jim Somerville. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters Ann Lopiccolo and Carole Boice, and her brother-in-law Carl Lopiccolo. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 from 5-7 PM at the SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 NEW CASTLE RD. BUTLER, PA 16001. WWW.SPENCERDGEIBEL.COM.
