Joan Wurzbacher, 65, of Lyndora passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2023. She was born in Lakewood, NJ to the late Arthur Sr and Ruth (Webb) Gant. After graduation Joan served her country honorably in the US Army. She worked as an LPN. She was known for being selfless, giving, and caring. She enjoyed doing crafts in her spare time and loved animals. Joan was the beloved wife of Thomas Wurzbacher since their marriage in 1978; mother of Thomas (Jennifer) Wurzbacher II and Rebecca (Ryan) Foley; sister of Kathy, Barbara, Karen, Arthur Jr, Patricia, Janet, Terri, and Linda; grandmother of Alana, Benjamin, Matthew, and Nyssa. Joan was preceded in death by her sister Ruth. Services and inurnment at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies will be held privately through SPENCER D.
