Jeffrey Hockenberry, 58, of West Sunbury passed away on Monday, September 11, 2023. He was born in Butler on October 28, 1964 to the late Benjamin and Isabel (Sherman) Hockenberry. He graduated from Butler High School and New Castle Trade School, then worked at Friedman’s Supermarket for many years. Jeffrey loved everyone and everyone loved him. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed joking around. Being in a wheelchair for 33 years, all he wanted was to be able to walk, he is now. Jeffrey was the brother of Drusilla (Rodney) Rensel, Shelley Hepler; uncle of Todd (Manda), Chad (Amy), Amber, Randy (Becca), Mike (Jenna), Cheyenne (Zachary), Lee, and Dalton. He is also survived by numerous great nieces and great nephews. Services will be held privately through SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 NEW CASTLE RD. BUTLER, PA 16001.
