James Steighner Obituary

James F. Steighner, 76, of East Butler passed away on Monday, April 4, 2022. He was born in Bethesda, MD on August 31, 1945, to the late Herbert and Edith (Benson) Steighner. James retired from the US Navy as a private auditor. He loved playing bocce ball and going for walks. James was also a Gold Member of the East Butler Fire Hall. He was loved and will be forever missed. James is survived by his sister Kathleen (Larry) Baptiste, brother David (Pam) Steighner, 2 nieces, and 2 nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, April 11th at 10 AM in St. Clare Parish, St., Wendelin R.C. Church. Arrangements made through SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 NEW CASTLE RD, BUTLER, PA 16001. WWW.SPENCERDGEIBEL.COM. Burial will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the East Butler Volunteer Fire Company.
