Howard “Paul” Zarnick Jr. 79, of Butler passed away peacefully on Friday, May 21, 2021 with his family by his side. He was born on October 14, 1941 in Butler to the late Howard P. Zarnick Sr. and Aleene (Thomas) Zarnick. Paul was raised Roman Catholic and attended Butler High School. Most of his career was with Pullman Standard where he worked for over 19 years. Paul enjoyed music, playing softball, and following Pittsburgh sports, especially the Steelers. He was known to have a heart of gold, to be loved by everyone he met, and would light up a room with laughter. He was cherished by his family and friends and was probably best known for his unending love and connection with animals, especially his beloved dog Zada. Paul was the loving father of Scot (Heather) Zarnick, Sherry Zarnick, Angie (Mark) Edwards, Gloria (Jim) Winters, and Amber Barb; brother of Carolyn Honse, Larry Zarnick, Brenda (Wayne) Wilson, and Cynthia Zarnick Botsis. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Korey, Sammy, Willow Zarnick, Damian Winters, and a grandson on the way. He was preceded in death by his son Ronnie P. Zarnick. Friends will be received on Tuesday, May 25th from 5-7 PM in the SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 NEW CASTLE RD. BUTLER, PA 16001 WWW.SPENCERDGEIBEL.COM.
