Gerald “Jerry” Foley Sr., 87, of Butler passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2021. He was born in Butler on January 1, 1934 to the late Thomas and Ellen Foley and the youngest of 11 siblings. Gerald retired from Armco after 43 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and going to camp. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and Fraternal Order of Eagles. Above all else he loved spending time with his family, kids, and grandkids. Gerald was the beloved husband of Geraldine (Burns) Foley since their marriage in 1956; father of Wayne Foley, Jacquelyn (Donald) Bullman, Brian Foley, Patricia (Mark) Simons, Dawn Harvey, and Michele (Deron) Hutchison. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and a great great grandchild. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St Paul R.C. Church of Butler on Saturday, September 18th at 10 AM, entombment will follow privately. Arrangements through the SPENCER D.
