Dolores McCall Obituary

Dolores E. McCall, 95, of Brady Township passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2022. She was born in Pittsburgh on December 30, 1926 to the late August and Helen Schwartz.  Dolores graduated from Penn Hill High School Class of 1944. She was employed as a book keeper for auto dealerships and worked side by side with her husband at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery for 21 years. Dolores was famous for her many crocheted toys and gifts for children and family. She spent many hours of research on the genealogical history of the McCalls of Butler County. She was the beloved wife of David McCall; mother of Kathryn (Mark) Weir; sister of James Schwartz; grandmother of Thomas (Kristin) Weir and Laura (Michael) Kalaras; and great grandmother of Mila and Stella Kalaras. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, with special love and hugs to her niece Beverly Cannon of Butler. Also, a special thanks to the caring staff at Sunnyview Nursing Home. Dolores was preceded in death by her son Robert McCall; sisters Kathleen Schwartz, Jean Intorre, Elizabeth McCaully; brother Harold Schwartz. Family and friends received Sunday, April 10, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 NEW CASTLE RD, BUTLER, PA 16001. WWW.SPENCERDGEIBEL.COM. A prayer service will immediately follow in the funeral home. Burial will be held privately in Mt. Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Paralyzed Veterans of America
