David Czzowitz, 73, of Butler passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2023. He was born in Butler on June 3, 1950 to the late Stanley Sr. and Catherine (Simko) Czzowitz. After graduating from Butler High School, David worked at Pullman until they closed. Then he worked as the director of security for almost 30 years until his retirement. He was known for being a great husband, father, grandfather, funny and loving. David loved woodworking, hunting, fishing, and was an overall avid outdoorsman. David was the beloved husband of Bernadette (Bergbigler) Czzowitz since their marriage in 1969; father of Tina (George J.) Zacherl and Diane (Mark Wagner) Grenek; brother of Lewis (Barbara) Czzowitz; grandfather of Courtney (Sam) Ashton, Joel (Kirsten) Zacherl, and Caleb Grenek; great grandfather of Zoey Paige Ashton.
