Daniel K. “Boone” Locke, 57, of Slippery Rock passed away on Monday, October 18, 2021. He was born in Butler on May 1, 1964 to the late James and Rose (Thompson) Locke. Daniel enjoyed fishing, casinos, yardwork, and working on cars, most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends. He was loved and will be missed by all. Daniel was the beloved husband of Diana (Spinetti) Locke; father of Jeremy (Brandy) Locke, Linda (Shane) Caldwell, and Sophia (Bill) Horne; brother of Dorrie (Gary) James, Pearl “Becky” (Bob) Williams, Linda (Bob) Deffner, Carolyn Pistorius, Darlene White, Arlene Campbell, Judy Lechner, and Scott Locke; grandfather of Donevan, Daryn, Colten, Timberly, Hunter, Dechlan, Wyatt, and Selena. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Daniel was preceded in death by his siblings Jimbo, Dale, John, Rosie and Dottie. Friends received on Friday, October 22nd from 5-7 PM at the SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 NEW CASTLE RD, BUTLER, PA 16001, WWW.SPENCERDGEIBEL.COM. A prayer service will immediately follow in the funeral home.
