Obituary
Daniel J. Caltrider, 41 of Tyrone PA, formerly of Butler passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2023. Dan was born in Butler on July 9, 1981 to Darlene Gamble and the late James Caltrider. Dan had a larger than life personality, he knew someone no matter where he went. Danny had a great sense of humor, was a good storyteller, had a kind-hearted soul, and loved sharing his life with family and friends. He had numerous talents but was best known for being a phenomenal guitar player. He was a great husband, father, son, brother, excellent friend, and will be forever missed. He was the husband of Jennifer (Gailey) Caltrider, son of Darlene (Randall) Werhnyak, father of Claire and Corbin Caltrider, brother of Christina Caltrider, Kris (Rachel) Werhnyak, and Randy Werhnyak. He is also survived by a large and loving family. All services will be held privately through SPENCER D GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 NEW CASTLE RD. BUTLER, PA 16001, WWW.SPENCERDGEIBEL.COM. A celebration of life service will be held at noon on Sunday, June 18th, 2023 at the Herman Fire Hall.
