Christine Schmude

Christine R. Schmude, 72, of Butler passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2022. She was born in Jeannette on April 27, 1950 to the late Paul and Vivian (Reeger) Osborne. Christine graduated from Jeanette High School in 1968 and went on to graduate with honors as an LPN. She enjoyed golfing, trips to Arizona and Myrtle Beach, sunbathing, and reading. Christine was known to be quick witted and never lost her sense of humor through her physical challenges. Christine was the mother of Jill Stitely and Tricia (Mickey) Bowser; grandmother of Dalton, Jessica, Kayleigh, Amber, and Emma; and great grandmother of Maverick. She is also survived by her cousin and best friend Marlene McCauley and several nephews. Christine was preceded in death by her beloved husband Edward Schmude and brother Paul “Danny” Osborne.
