Brenda “Brendy” Tarr, 68, of Butler passed away on Friday, August 25th, 2023. She was born in Lawrence County on July 27th, 1955 to the late Emory & Thelma (Kniess) Haskin. After graduating high school, Brenda worked as a CNA through retirement. She loved bingo & playing cards. Brenda was known for being very social, outspoken, and unique in her own way. She loved being around her family and friends and enjoyed being involved in the community. She loved helping those in need, giving advice, and being supportive of others. She was loved by all who knew her and will be forever missed. Brenda is survived by her children Tammy Walters, Thomas Peiffer Jr & Lori Peiffer; her siblings Wanda Marshal, James Haskin & Donna Haskin; 16 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by 14 brothers & sisters.
