Barbara Burke Obituary

Barbara Ann Burke, 73, of Butler passed away on Sunday September 25th, 2022. She was born on October 8th, 1948 to the late Edward Sr. & Lillian (Ready) Burke in Pittsburgh, PA. Barbara attended Mars High School, then went on to further her education at Slippery Rock University & BC3. She loved her teaching career and worked at two of the best special needs schools in the area. Barbara loved spending time with her cat, collecting stamps, and dabbled in photography. She enjoyed shooting pool and was also a member of the Firearms Bowling League. Barbara is survived by her close friend Donald “Butch” Stabley and her older sister Nancy. In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her son Christopher Burke and her brother Edward “Butch” Burke. She was loved & will be missed.
