Andrew C. Puvak, 94, of Butler passed away on October 27, 2021 with his family by his side. He was born in Prospect on August 29, 1927 to the late Andrew J. and Anna (Grabac) Puvak. Andrew worked for Armco for 38 years in the Wheel Works, Management and Engineering Departments. He was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus Council 866 and Elks #170. Andrew loved his family, dancing with his wife Helen, traveling the world, and woodworking. He also enjoyed volunteering with the Boy Scouts of America, St. Andrew’s Roman Catholic Church, and several dance organizations in the Butler area. Andrew also built 13 houses, 2 for his family, and 11 for others. He was the beloved husband of Helen Puvak for over 69 years of marriage; father of Ron (Mary) Puvak, Ken (Eva Piszczek) Puvak, and Cathy (John) Klinchock; grandfather of Joshua (Veronica), Jon (Caroline), Jared (Bianca), Nick, Noelle, Noah Puvak, and Sara (Austin) Klinchock; great grandfather of Daniella, Victoria, Alexandria, Will, Drew, Luke, and Myla; and brother in-w-law of Emilio Russo, Ruth, Dorothy, Gladie, and Norma Cygan. Andrew is also survived by many wonderful nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his siblings Frank, Eddie, Ann, Peggy, Angie, and Sophie; and his sibling’s spouses Michael, John, Andrew, George, Mary, Ann, and Kay. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 11 AM in St. Andrew R.C. Church through the SPENCER D.
