William J. Schurer Jr, 45 of Valencia, passed away on Jan. 2nd. He was born in Norfolk, VA to his late parents William J. Schurer Sr and Roberta Gray. Bill was a life member of the Richland VFD. He loved bull riding, football and nascar. Survived by his wife Melva Vantine Schurer and children Alex Vantine & Xander Jay. Bill is also survived by his grandmother Irene Schurer & his sister Jess Schurer. Loving uncle to Tyler Butler and Mandi Mitzel. A memorial service will be held on Feb. 1st from 2-4pm in the Richland Fire Hall. SPENCER D.
